
The inaugural Meritorious Teaching Award in Herpetology will be given at the 2010 Joint Meetings of Ichthyologists & Herpetologists to recognize superior teaching effectiveness and mentoring of students in the area of herpetology. The award recipient will receive a cash prize of US$500°° and a plaque recognizing the accomplishment.

HL is pleased to announce a new initiative for funding graduate student research -- the EE Williams Research Grant. Named in honor of HL's first Distinguished Herpetologist, the EE Williams Research Grant will fund up to $500 of research expenditures.
