Representatives from our publisher nominated the March 2009 issue of Herpetologica for best Cover Illustration in the Scholarly Journals category as awarded by The Society of National Association Publications (a non-profit, professional society serving the needs of association publishers and communications professionals). That issue of Herpetologica won the Bronze Award, and was recognized at the 29th EXCEL Awards Gala on 4 June 2009, at the Capitol Hilton in Washington D.C.
